Conditions of funding

The terms and conditions associated with JCCBF grants are included in the application form. In signing the application form, organisations are agreeing to commit to these terms and conditions and to use the grant in accordance with the approved purpose in the letter of offer.

Organisations which are successful in receiving a grant will be forwarded correspondence including :

• a letter of offer
• the process for claiming grant funds
• a claim form

Once grants have been approved, successful organisations are required to begin their project within three months and complete them within twelve months. It should be noted that this twelve month timeframe for completion has been developed to cater for more complex projects. For grants provided for the one off purchase of equipment or a vehicle, successful organisations are expected to complete such projects within the first three months.

Delays with projects may occur, in this case, organisations are required to advise the JCCBF and seek a formal extension of time to either commence or complete their project. Organisations will be expected to abide by the original grant timeframes unless extensions have been approved in writing.
